Cuticle of the cypselas of the Asteraceae species
Abstract
Results of morphological and anatomic researches of cypselas of species of Asteraceae family are presented. It is established that the plicatum of a surface of cypsela exocarpium is manifestation not of folds of a cuticle, but outgrowths of external walls of cypsela exocarpium. The 6 types of epicuticularis wax which are found on a surface of cypselas are given. Existence of the cuticle on a surface of exotest and endosperm of the studied species is established.
