A new species of the genus Allium L. from Tuva
Abstract
The description of a new species Allium grumm-grshimailoi Kamelin et Namz. is presented. The novelty is related to Allium malyschevii and A. hymenorhizum, and occurs in the Sangilen Upland in the sources of Targa River (south-eastern Tuva) at elevation of 2500 m a. s. l. The plant is peculiar for its filmy multilayer stramineous scales of bulbs. Species habitats are whitish-gray (carbonate) rocky relict mountainsDownloads
