Spore morphology of the species of Asplenium ser. Variantia (Aspleniaceae) from Baikal Siberia
Abstract
The method of scanning electronic microscopy is applied for comparative study of morphology of spores in 3 representatives of Asplenium ser. Variantia (A. altajense, A. nesii, A. tenuicaule) from the Baikal Siberia. Morphological differences among the studied species are revealed in the perisporium structure, presence/ ansence of outgrowths and number of perforations.
