System of the Russian species of the genus Ciminalis Adans. (Gentianaceae Juss.)
Abstract
Morphological, ecological, and chemical characteristics, peculiarities of habitats of the genus Ciminalis Adans. are examined. Diagnostic differences among the genera Ciminalis and Calathiana (Froel.)Delarbre and sections within the genus Ciminalis are provided. A system of the Russian representatives of the genus Ciminalis is proposed with the following new nomenclatural combinations: Ciminalissect. Pyrenaicae (Grossh.) Zuev, C. pyrenaica (L.) Zuev, C. dshimilensis (K. Koch) Zuev, C. dshimilensis subsp. laciniata (Kit. ex Kanitz) Zuev, and a key for species identification is given. For each species the geographical distribution according to the protologue, distribution within Russia and general distribution as well as the data on ecology are provided.
