Review of the Kazakh Upland Polypodiophyta
Abstract
The authors of this communication carried out critical revision of the Kazakh Upland Polypodiophyta collections from the following herbaria: MW, LE, TK, KUZ, and herbarium of Karaganda Botanical Garden (currently a department of the International research-and-production holding “Phytochemistry”, Karaganda (KG). A checklist of Polypodiophyta of the Kazakh Upland is updated to include 24 species from 11 families. Compared to data of “Flora of Kazakhstan” (Pavlov, 1956), the list of Polypodiophyta of the Kazakh Upland increased by 9 species and 35 new findings in a separate floristic region. Some new localities for several rare species are revealed. Distribution of each species is given according to the botanical-geographical division of Kazakhstan. For the rarest species, localities are also cited. The species new for the flora of the Kazakh Upland founded after “Flora of Kazakhstan” (Pavlov, 1956) are marked in the checklist with a sign “+”Downloads
