Chroomonas acuta Uterm. (Cryptophyta) in Lake Teletskoye (Altai, Russia)
Abstract
The results of the study of Chroomonas acuta Uterm. (Cryptophyta) in the phytoplankton of Lake Teletskoye during the period of 1989–2012 were analyzed. The peculiarities of the morphological structure and dimensional characteristics according to the light and electron-microscopic study of the species in the plankton of the lake were given. The seasonal and interannual dynamics as well as the features of Ch. acuta vertical distribution in the pelagic zone of the deep oligotrophic lake were revealed.
