NEW FLORISTIC FINDINGS ON THE NORTH-WEST PAMIR-ALAY (UZBEKISTAN)

Abstract

This article is focused on six species newley recorded for the flora of Nuratau and Malguzar mountains (North-West Pamir-Alay), which are revealed during the field studies and examination of TASH herbarium specimens in 2011–2012. Two of these species (Ferula kyzylkumica and Tulipa buhseana) are new for Middle Asian mountain floristic province, two species (Sedum pentapetalum and Gypsophila paniculata) are new for PamirAlay, one species (Ferula kyzylkumica) is included into the Red Data Book of Uzbekistan and another one (Pyrus korshinskyi) is included into the IUCN Red List.
