Abstract
Mallow nectaries in a number of genera are morphologically distinct. The morphological difference of nectaries between Alcea and Althaea species, as well as the species-specific morphology of nectaries in Alcea species, is confirmed. The nectaries of previously unstudied species of Malva and Lavatera are similar to those of previously studied species.
