Chlorophyllum sphaerosporum (Agaricales, Basidiomycota) – the second observation worldwide
UDC 582.284:581.95(470+571)
Abstract
A specimen of Chlorophyllum sphaerosporum was collected in the Republic of Altai, Russia, and was confirmed both by morphology and nrITS sequence analysis. The record represents the first finding of this species in Russia and the second observation worldwide. The paper provides morphological description, ecological features of Chlorophyllum sphaerosporum and presents molecular phylogenetic analysis of sequenced specimen. Comparisons were made with the type specimen and morphologically similar species.
