Acarospora americana (Acarosporaceae), a new species for Eurasia from the European part of Russia
UDC 582.293.352(470.324)
Abstract
A lichen species Acarospora americana H. Magn., new to Russia and Eurasia, was discovered on the territory of the Pavlovsk granite quarry in the Voronezh Region. A detailed description of morphological and anatomical features is given, chemotaxonomic analysis is carried out. A comparison is made with closely related species: A. fuscata (Ach.) Arnold and A. veronensis A. Massal. ITS nrDNA sequence is obtained.
